What's wrong

MORryde International, Inc. (MORryde) is recalling certain Clip-On brackets, with part numbers STP57-515 and STP57-641. The clip-on bracket mounting bolts for the removable step may come loose, which can cause the steps to detach.

2

Why it matters

Steps that detach while in use increase the risk of injury.

3

The fix

Dealers will inspect the clip-on bracket and make repairs if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 15, 2025. Owners may contact MORryde customer service at 574-293-1581.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1- 888-275-9171), or go to www.safercar.gov.
