What's wrong

KTM North American, Inc. (KTM) is recalling certain Müller Präzision steering dampers (part number 16181T01E) sold as accessory parts for certain 2020-2026 KTM Super Duke R and Super Duke Evo motorcycles. The steering damper can loosen from the mounting adapter, which can lead to a loss of steering control.

Why it matters

Loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash or injury.

3

The fix

Dealers will apply thread locker to the steering damper and tighten properly, free of charge. KTM notified dealers on October 13, 2026. Owners may contact KTM customer service at 1-888-985-6090.
